Hadean Radio is a collaboration between Lotte Lara Schröder & Glenn Ryszko. Their collaboration is a research into an ecological deconstruction that combines a fascination for the volcano and the transformative qualities of sound. Various temporal spaces and voices are constructed that inhabit the ever present void.
Compost I is the first result and was shared for the first time during Perspectives at Kunstfort bij Vijfhuizen (09-03-2019)
In Compost I: ‘or you can die and become food for the earth’, the audience encounters a voice that after keeping its distance for many years, is calling out from the void. Viewing us from the outside, seeing us standing on a precipice, the voice feels required to establish first contact.
As a live performance it interacts with its surrounding and absorbs the time and place its being presented in.
Lotte Schröder & Glenn Ryszko are both artists who engage with sound and music each from within their own discipline. Lotte Schröder is a multidisciplinary artist who also holds a MA in graphic design from the Werkplaats Typografie. Glenn Ryszko graduated from the Institute of Sonology at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague and participated in the Master of Voice program at the Sandberg Instituut.
